Restoration
|
This listed property had a lead box gutter that was
probably original in its construction.
It was so badly decayed that it had to be
completely rebuilt from scratch.
The slate tiles were removed and a new wooden
gutter was constructed, which had to be self-supporting.
It was finished by the addition of false
mouldings (bottom picture) which appear to hold the guttering up.
